2019 Compassion Project This year our Compassion Project will be the Focus Pregnancy Help Center in Rochester, NY ( www.focusphc.org ). Their mission is to provide meaningful and compassionate care to women facing an unplanned pregnancy by connecting clients to life-affirming support services. Below is a list of items from their wish list that we will be collecting at retreat. Please make sure all items are NEW. Your church or small group may choose to hold a “baby shower” to collect some of these items. Your church may also choose to collect a couple of items a month from now through retreat (i.e., April—blankets, or books/toys, May—pacifiers/bottles, June—diapers, July—formula). Or you may choose to put together a “baby basket” or “mother care basket”. Be creative! Baby items: blankets, bibs, pacifiers, tethers, etc. Children’s toys & books Diapers (newborn to size 5), Pull-Ups Tippy Toes baby formula (yellow top container) Baby/children’s clothes Non-perishable food items Household items: dishes, glasses, sheets
